This role focuses on strengthening player and coach development across the province. The ideal candidate is a passionate coach and administrator with a strong background in volleyball, supported by relevant education or training in sport science, coaching, or a related field. They will bring 5 or more years of coaching experience at the high-performance or college/university/club level, strong technical and tactical knowledge of the game, and a proven ability to plan, deliver, and evaluate effective training programs.
Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, as the role requires the ability to inspire and educate both players and coaches, provide mentorship, and undertake key elements of program administration. The successful applicant will be instrumental in driving the continued growth and development of Volleyball Nova Scotia’s performance programs.
