2025-26 Competition Guide

The Competitions Guide is a document of rules and regulations for the Club Volleyball Season and all VNS-Sanctioned competitions within. All clubs, club directors, head coaches, assistant coaches, and managers should be familiar with and aware of its contents and ensure that each club and team is operating within these guidelines throughout the Club Volleyball Season.

The Competitions Guide is updated annually, which includes any rule changes from Volleyball Canada.

2025-26 Important Dates

2025-26 Tryout Period, Super Series & NS Championships Dates:

The Super Series is comprised of two events in each of the following age groups: 14U, 15U, 16U, 17U, 18U for Female and 14U, 16U, 18U for Male. Each event is organized by VNS and hosted by clubs throughout the province. Results are used to regroup teams in tiers of the same skill level for the next event. The final Super Series event is used to tier and seed participating teams in the VNS Championships. VNS Championships represent the culmination of the VNS club season and serve to rank teams headed to National Championships.

  • Club Re-Signing Period:                                                             November 10th – November 15th, 2025
  • Club Early Signing Period (16U/17U/18U teams only)               November 10th – November 15th, 2025
  • Club Tryout Window:                                                                  December 7th – December 16th, 2025
  • Club Official Offers may begin:                                                   December 17th, 5:00pm, 2025
  • Super Series Registration:                                                          January 8th, 2026, 12:00pm
  • Roster Lock Deadline:                                                                January 28th, 2026, 12:00pm
  • Coaching Cert. Requirements Met:                                            January 28th, 2026, 12:00pm
  • Coach Eval Registration (Year 3+ Coaches):                             January 28th, 2026, 12:00pm
  • NS Championships Registration:                                                February 5th, 2026, 12:00pm
