VNS is now accepting Expressions of Interest for the following positions within the ROYAL Indoor, NAVY Beach and NAVY Beach/Indoor Hybrid Team NS Programs:

• Head Coaches     

  • Desired Time Commitment: Must have the ability to attend all training as noted in the Program Details (small conflicts can be discussed on a case by case basis).

    • 1 HC for NAVY Beach Female, 1 HC for NAVY Beach Male

    • 1 HC for NAVY Hybrid Female, 1 HC for NAVY Hybrid Male
       

• Assistant Coaches/Managers (managers only within the ROYAL Indoor programs)

  • Desired Time Commitment: Must have the ability to attend all training as noted in the Program Details (small conflicts can be discussed on a case by case basis).
    
    One ROYAL Indoor AC and the ROYAL Manager will be a two-summer commitment, for both 2024 Team NS as well as for the 2025 Team NS Canada Summer Games Programs.

    • 1 AC for ROYAL Beach Female, 1 AC for ROYAL Indoor Male
    • * 1-2 AC for ROYAL Indoor Female, 1-2 AC for ROYAL Indoor Male
    • * 1 Manager for ROYAL Indoor Female, 1 Manager for ROYAL Indoor Male
    • 1 AC for NAVY Beach Female, 1 AC for NAVY Beach Male
    • 5 AC’s for NAVY Hybrid Female, 5 AC’s for NAVY Hybrid Male
       
  • * For ROYAL Indoor, one Assistant Coach and the Manager positions are a two-summer commitment, for both the 2024 Team NS program as well as for the 2025 Team NS Canada Games Program

 

• Session Coaches     

  • Desired Time Commitment: Can commit to attending a variety of sessions (Ex. from one practice in a training block, to one practice a day, to a repeating session each training camp, etc.). 

    • Session Coaches will be planned for within a practice plan, and are considered assistant coaches for any session(s) they attend. 

    • Unlimited number of coaches will be involved total, however 1-2 session coaches will attend each session.

Application & Selection Process:

1. Please read the Program Details document and the Coach Information document carefully.

2. Coaches interested in applying for Team Nova Scotia positions, please complete the following Expression of Interest forms by end of day Friday, February 23rd: 

   • Team NS Coach Staff Roles - HC, AC, Manager for a variety of roles

   • Team NS Session Coach Role

3. VNS will begin contacting interested coaches by email beginning on Tuesday, February 27th.
